The St. Edmund Elementary School Robotics Team, “The Nerd Herd”, under the direction of Mr. Michael Zwosta, competed in the First Lego League’s Hydro Dynamic Challenge. The group worked to research a problem within the human water cycle and design a solution using a robot that could improve the way people find, transport, use or dispose of water. The challenge culminated the Team’s work for the first half of this academic year. The Nerd Herd will now go on to perfect the abilities of their robot, and begin the process of preparing for next year’s challenge, Inter- orbit Space Exploration.
