Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato visited SCCA and presented students that completed The Summer Reading Challenge with certificates. She also spoke to all the students about the importance of reading and told everyone she looks forward to visiting us again. Later that morning Senator Joseph Addabbo visited and toured the school. He visited all the classrooms and spoke about his role in government and how government works. Several of the students shared with Senator Addabbo concerns that they had. We thank both the assemblywoman and the senator for spending part of their busy days with us.
