Lay Ministry Sunday

Lay Ministry Sunday is celebrated in all parishes on the Sunday immediately preceding Ash Wednesday. The date for this year’s celebration is February 10, 2013.

Lay Ministry Sunday is an opportunity to celebrate and affirm the contributions of the laity who serve and enrich the life and mission of their parish as liturgical ministers, ministers of consolation, members of the finance and pastoral councils, adult faith formation coordinators, liturgical planners and so many other ways.  Learn more.
