There are three upcoming youth events in the Diocese of Brooklyn in early March, don’t miss them! On March 3rd, Donovan’s Pub of Woodside will host a Theology on Tap, with guest Brother Malachy Napier. There is a second Theology on Tap on March 10 at Donovan’s, featuring Fr. Gribowich. And catch Hours for the Lord at the Cathedral Basilica of St. James, at 9PM on March 4th.

Theology On Tap: November 2015
Join us for the next two editions of Theology On Tap! The first takes place on Tuesday, November 10 with special guest Fr. Kevin Abels discussing Pope Francis and the Joy of the Gospel. The second edition is Tuesday, November 24 with Fr. Carlos Velasquez and he will be discussing the Liturgy: Where Heaven Meets Earth. Both of these events take place at Donovan’s Pub in Woodside. On Thursday, March 26, Theology on Tap returns to Manor Oktoberfest in Forest Hills! However, due to a scheduling conflict, our original presenter, Dr. Greg Kandra, is unavailable to present. Instead, we will have Mrs. Amanda Cardone, PhL Professor of Catholic Philosophical Studies at The Cathedral House of Formation speaking about “The Story of Original Sin (As Told By the Snake)!”

Young Adult Cruise
The Young Adults Group From St. Thomas Aquinas in Flatlands is organizing a 6 night Western Caribbean cruise retreat aboard the Carnival Conquest, which will sail January 17, 2016 – January 23, 2016 round trip Fort Lauderdale, Florida! Persons of any age are welcome. Ports of call are Key West, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel.
Retreat activities will include daily mass, penance, Catholic trivia, Theology on Tap, Reflections with Father Dwayne, and a Young Adults Dinner. Initial deposits are due March 28, 2015.

Theology On Tap With Deacon Greg Kandra
Come join us for another edition of Theology on Tap! On Thursday, March 5, come on down to Manor Oktoberfest, 73-11 Yellowstone Blvd in Forest Hills, to grab a bite to eat and have a drink while we discuss Catholics in Media.
The presenter will be Brooklyn’s own Deacon Greg Kandra, a columnist at Patheos.com and, for 26 years, a writer and producer at CBS.

On Monday, Nov. 24, Theology on Tap will return, presented by Catholic Foundation! Join us at the 12th St. Bar and Grill in Brooklyn at 7 p.m! The speaker for the night will be Brother Geoffrey Clement O.S.F. and he will be covering Christian-Islamic Interactions in the Middle Ages.

Theology on Tap in Park Slope on May 14
May 6, 2014 – The next Theology on Tap will be held on Wednesday, May 14, at 7 PM at Farrell’s Bar and Grill in Park Slope. Young Adults (ages 21-39) from the Diocese are encouraged to attend.
The session is entitled “Mary: Giving Up Distractions,” and will feature Fr. Michael Gelfant.
