Most Reverend Nicholas DiMarzio, Bishop of Brooklyn, regrets to inform you of the death of Reverend Romano A. Zanon, a retired priest of the Diocese of Brooklyn. Father Zanon was born on November 25, 1927 in Trento, Italy, was ordained to the Priesthood on May 28, 1966, and died Friday, October 5, 2018, at North Shore University Hospital – Northwell Health, Manhasset.

Father Zanon served the Diocese of Brooklyn as Pastor of the Parish of Saint Benedict the Moor (Jamaica), as well as Parochial Vicar of the Parishes of Saint Rita (Brooklyn) and Saint Gabriel (East Elmhurst). He also served as chaplain of Mount Saint Mary’s Cemetery, in Flushing. The arrangements are as follows:
