Job Title: Campaign Office Administrative Assistant

Reports to: Campaign Co-Executive Directors

Main Function: To provide assistance and support of an administrative, clerical, and technical nature of the Campaign Office

Essential Functions:

  • Work, in concert with Campaign Office staff, to update and maintain a confidential database of individuals, corporations, foundations, vendors, media contacts, etc
  • Collaborate with other members of the Campaign Office toward a system-wide integration of data
  • Insure performance of daily back up of the Campaign Office’s electronic data
  • Format and send letters as necessary
  • Collect and prepare data for records and reports as needed
  • Proofread publications and documents
  • Assist with scheduling, organization, coordination, and logistics of external meetings, events, and internal staff meetings. Reserve meeting room, order refreshments, contact participants to confirm attendance, print agenda and handouts, take minutes and other duties as assigned.
  • Send, receive, sort, and distribute mail
  • Receive, handle, and transfer phone calls and messages promptly and courteously
  • Attend required meetings and participate as required
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the mission, goals, and priorities of the Campaign Office

Experience

  • Prior experience in a fundraising environment preferred
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office and database management required; working knowledge of The Rasier’s Edge software preferred
