Discernment Tuesdays

Every Tuesday evening, the Pope John Paul II House of Discernment (341 Highland Blvd; Brooklyn, NY 11207) sponsors a Holy Hour (at 5:30 PM) for men who may be thinking about priesthood. After the Holy Hour, dinner is served at the Discernment House, followed by discussions on the life of the priest and how a man may discern whether the Lord is calling him to this life. The conversations are led by Fr. Kevin Abels, Director of Vocations and the House of Discernment, as well as other priests from around the Diocese.  Click here to download the flyer

We hope you will share this information with the young men in your parish. Please feel free to join us any Tuesday evening (with or without a young man) for the Holy Hour and/or dinner so you can learn more about our Discernment House and see, firsthand, the group of men we have living in the house who are discerning their call to priesthood. We would ask that you let us know, in advance, if you are planning to come. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Vocation Office at 718-827-2454 or at vocations@diobrook.org.
