Joanne Weiss
As personal secretary to Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio, Joanne Weiss assists in managing the Bishop’s personal correspondence, as well as the day-to-day operations of his calendar, making appointments and coordinating all aspects of his day.

Deacon Jaime Varela
As assistant to Bishop DiMarzio, Deacon Jaime Varela assists the Bishop at liturgical functions as his Master of Ceremonies, ensuring that the liturgy runs smoothly. Deacon Varela also accompanies the Bishop to all parish visits, school visits and other major events, as well as to functions at the Cathedral Basilica of Saint James.

Linda Dionisio
Mrs. Dionisio serves the Office of the Bishop as Executive Secretary. She assists the Bishop and all who work in his office ensuring that the workflow runs smoothly each day. Linda is the first contact that many have when calling the Office of the Bishop for assistance.
