Most Reverend Nicholas DiMarzio, Bishop of Brooklyn, regrets to inform you of the death of Reverend Manuel Ros, a senior priest of the Diocese of Brooklyn. Father Ros was born on May 21, 1930 in Valencia, Spain, he was a priest of the Diocese of Granada, Nicaragua, who was ordained to the Priesthood on May 8, 1960, was incardinated in the Diocese of Brooklyn on March 15, 1995, and died Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at Ozanam Nursing Home, in Bayside.
Father Ros served the Diocese of Brooklyn as Parochial Vicar of the Parishes of Saint Gerard Majella (Hollis), Saint Lucy-Saint Patrick (Brooklyn), Saint Malachy (Brooklyn) and Our Lady of Sorrows (Corona).
