Grow in Love and Faith with Pre-Cana
Effective preparation for the sacrament of matrimony is an essential element that the Diocese of Brooklyn is called to provide. The diocesan Marriage Preparation or “Pre-Cana” classes are a mandatory requirement. Classes are presented in English and Spanish. Other languages upon request. Retreats are available, though optional.
Contact your parish as soon as possible and make an appointment to talk with the priest, deacon, or staff person who is responsible for preparing couples.
GETTING MARRIED OUTSIDE THE U.S.?
PREPARATION SHOULD START AT LEAST 6 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EXCHANGE OF WEDDING VOWS.
