The Diocese of Brooklyn will welcome internationally acclaimed worship leader and songwriter Matt Maher, along with award-nominated musical artist Sarah Kroger, as they bring their Cathedrals Tour to the Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Local musician Alverlis will open the evening, setting a heartfelt tone of praise and renewal.
This Advent Night of Worship invites the Brooklyn community to gather in song, prayer, and reflection, preparing hearts for the coming of Christ through a night of praise and renewal.
Maher and Kroger will lead a heartfelt evening of music that unites generations in faith and celebration. All proceeds from the event will go to support Futures in Education, a scholarship fund that gives students whose families may not otherwise be able to afford Catholic school tuition the opportunity to have a Catholic education.
The Cathedrals Tour is sponsored by International Justice Mission (IJM), which works to end slavery and human trafficking across the globe. With over 50 million people living in modern-day slavery, IJM works to rescue victims, restore survivors, and strengthen justice systems to protect the vulnerable.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the event beginning at 7:00 p.m. The Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph is located at 856 Pacific Street in the Prospect Heights section of Brooklyn.
