BISHOP DIMARZIO TO INTRODUCE BISHOP-DESIGNATE ROBERT BRENNAN, THE EIGHTH BISHOP OF THE DIOCESE OF BROOKLYN

The Most Reverend Nicholas DiMarzio, Bishop of Brooklyn, will officially welcome The Most Reverend Robert Brennan, named the eighth Bishop of Brooklyn earlier this morning by His Holiness Pope Francis, at a press conference at 10:00 a.m. today, Wednesday, September 29, 2021, in the Undercroft (lower level) of the Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph, located at 856 Pacific Street, in the Prospect Heights section of Brooklyn.

Before the press conference, Bishop DiMarzio and Bishop-designate Robert Brennan will concelebrate 8 a.m. Mass at the Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph. The Mass will be live-streamed at www.netny.tv.

Following the press conference, at 11:30 a.m.,Bishop DiMarzio and Bishop Brennan will lead a prayer service and meet with Diocesan staff in the Chapel of the Chancery Office, located at 310 Prospect Park West in the Windsor Terrace section of Brooklyn.

 At 1:30 p.m., Bishop DiMarzio and Bishop Brennan will visit with the students of St. Saviour Catholic Academy and St. Saviour High School, in the Church located at 611 Eighth Avenue in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn.
