Brazilian Apostolate

The Brazilian Apostolate in the Diocese of Brooklyn was officially created as an ethnic apostolate 21 years ago. What began as simply holding Masses in Portuguese turned into an organized diocesan mission. We celebrate the joy of our faith through the Eucharist every Sunday. We’ve organized groups for youths, prayer, and liturgy. We also formed a Brazilian choir. Not only are our catechesis in Portuguese, but also in our celebrations of the Christmas Novena, Brazilian festivals, and especially the Feast of Our Lady Aparecida, Patroness of Brazil.
