Retreat Houses

A contemplative community of the Servants of the Lord

About the Monastery

The Institute Servants of the Lord and the Virgin of Matará are made up of two branches – active and contemplative, both united under the same mission. The contemplative sisters contribute to the missionary activity of the Church through their hidden and silent lives, dedicated to prayer and penance.

Retreats

The Holy Spirit has inspired many religious families, many particular charisms, and institutes in the Church to fulfill His plan of salvation for certain souls through the vocation to consecrated life. This means that if you are discerning the call to religious life it will not be abstract forever. At a certain point, visiting sisters to see their lives can be a helpful step in discernment.
