NEW YORK’S CATHOLIC STATION ANNOUNCES LIVE COVERAGE OF THE INSTALLATION MASS OF NEW YORK’S NEW ARCHBISHOP

New York’s Catholic station, NET TV, will provide comprehensive live coverage of the installation of the Most Reverend Ronald A. Hicks as the 11th Archbishop of New York, airing tomorrow, Friday, February 6, 2026, from St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
Before the installation, a special Currents News broadcast, dedicated to Archbishop Hicks, will begin at 1:00 p.m. EST. Live coverage of the full Installation Mass will follow at 2:00 p.m. EST.
The hour-long special will offer in-depth reporting on the Illinois-born archbishop and the life events that led him to this historic moment, including his early vocation, pastoral ministry, and time spent serving as a missionary in El Salvador. The broadcast will also revisit the moment Archbishop Hicks was first introduced as the Archbishop-Designate of New York.
This Currents News special coverage will also include:
