Grace and Bias

This course is designed to assist Catholics in reflecting upon the Gospel call to work for justice and the human dignity of all people.  Participants will explore key documents, listen to rich dialogue and personal experiences from recorded webinars, and enter into a spiritual reflection that highlights the Church’s teachings regarding racism and the promotion of the dignity of all people.  Participants in this course will emerge equipped with the understanding and knowledge to enter into a fruitful dialogue about issues that affect all of our brothers and sisters.

This 6-hour course is composed of four modules:

  1. Introduction
  2. Module 1: Naming the Reality of Racism
  3. Module 2: Naming Our Experience with Bias
  4. Module 3: Cultivating Spaces for Dialogue
  5. Module 4: Reflection with the Lens of the Gospel
