Mary uttered her "yes
" from the very heart of her
being with such complete assent that God could become physically present in her
womb as her very son.
Mary's is a singular
vocation, but her act of assent to the Incarnation, spoken on behalf of the whole
creation and the whole Church, serves as the model for us today.
