"If the
message of faith is to be heard and lived, the catechist must be given ongoing
formation in the faith in order to understand it more fully and to speak it
clearly, skillfully, and faithfully."
-
The Catechist in the Third Millennium
Our
Diocese offers training and certification for catechists through formal classes
and ongoing workshops and programs. In addition, catechists may wish to check
frequently our recommendations for resources for use in personal development and
in the classroom.
