Becoming a Catholic - RCIA
The Diocese of Brooklyn has a vibrant and intercultural Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). The formal title for the program through which people who are not Catholic can join the Church and receive sacraments. A joint committee of the catechumenate and Liturgy offices sponsor workshops and offer training for RCIA directors. To find out more about RCIA, contact your parish or our office.
