Endowment
Funds
Establishing an endowment is a significant act of
Christian charity and a lasting way of supporting
one’s personal charitable
interests. Endowed funds provide a source of continuous
support to beneficiaries. The principal remains undisturbed,
and earnings are allocated annually to support specific
entities; prudently invested endowed funds
are a source of never ending
philanthropy.
Endowment funds are
monitored and managed with counsel from a team of
professional investment advisors. The Foundation’s assets are
invested in socially and morally responsible funds that are
not in conflict with the tenets of Roman Catholic
doctrine.
The Foundation currently houses 80
Endowed Funds, benefiting people, parishes, schools and agencies
in Brooklyn and Queens. If you are interested in establishing
an endowment, or want to discuss whether it is the appropriate
vehicle for your intentions, please call the
Foundation office.
