endowment funds help the Diocese of Brooklyn sustain and extend
its ministries throughout the communities of Brooklyn and
Queens.
The Archbishop Bryan
J. McEntegart Fund
The
Archbishop Bryan J. McEntegart Fund offers scholarships,
matching funds and program support in areas including
technology, after-school programs and the arts, for Catholic
schools and diocesan agencies with a Catholic education focus.
This year the fund
awarded $600,000 in grants.
The Bishop John
Loughlin Fund
The Bishop
John Loughlin Fund assists and enhances religious education and
evangelization programs throughout the diocese.
This year the fund
awarded $210,000 in grants.
The Bishop Charles E.
McDonnell Fund
The Bishop
Charles E. McDonnell Fund provides funding for proactive
discernment programs that promote priestly vocations to
qualified young men.
This year the fund
awarded $126,000 in grants.
The Pope John Paul II
Fund
The Pope
John Paul II Fund supports lay leadership formation and training
programs and related initiatives through scholarships and
program support.
This year the fund
awarded $240,000 in grants.
The Archbishop Thomas
E. Molloy Fund
The
Archbishop Thomas E. Molloy Fund delivers funding for assistance
and care of elderly priests as well as those with daily living
assistance needs.

Francis J. Mugavero Fund supplies resources for senior citizen
services along with elderly housing needs.
